With 90% lumen transmissivity, the lens preserves nearly all of the lamp's output while eliminating the bright hot-spot that causes video camera saturation. That makes it a strong fit for critical video surveillance, broadcast sets, retail merchandising, and any application that needs uniform field illumination across a defined 25° x 25° square area.
